The Academy For Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) is a White-House initiative designed to empower at least 50 million women worldwide by 2025 to fulfill their economic potential, and in doing so, create conditions for increased stability, security and prosperity for all. AWE is centered around the online training program, DreamBuilder, developed by Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management. The program equips women with the tools needed to create and grow their own businesses, raise capital, and network effectively with other successful business owners. DreamBuilder is available in over 65 countries, with over 100,000 learners worldwide.
HOW IT WORKS:
This program will run from June 2022 – April 2023 in five states: Terengganu, Sabah, Sarawak, Johor, Negeri Sembilan and Kuala Lumpur/Selangor. We are looking for 70 women entrepreneurs to join our business growth program for 10 months. You will need to complete all of the online training modules to receive a 0% interest microloan.
You will also be paired with a mentor for 6 months to help you scale up your business.

BEFORE YOU APPLY:
Our basic eligibility requirements are that you must:
- Be a female Malaysian citizen with age of 18 and above.
- Be running a micro business for at least 6 months or you are an aspiring female entrepreneur with a viable business idea or startup.
- Be committed to completing all 13 online DreamBuilder modules.
- Be able to join WENA’s workshops and mentor sessions which complement the DreamBuilder modules.
- Have a growth mindset and a strong desire to take your business to the next level.
